Mach Five: Carla (Video)

I’m looking forward to more. Lets see what these young up and comers out of the ATL are really made of.

Artemus Jenkins brings us a new visual from the latest Mach Five project, Best Friends, about a car named car “Carla.” Where they take us on a ride through the streets of Atlanta in a thugged-out version of Speed Racer’s Mach 5, an ’88 Chevy SS Monte Carlo.

Asher Roth & Chuck Inglish: In The Kitchen (Video)

Two thumbs up from ya boy. Click it!

For the past couple years, Asher Roth and Chuck Inglish have been two artists that we’ve been eager to create music videos for. The first time we heard Ash rock over a Chuck beat was in 2008 when The Greenhouse Effect mixtape was released and the remix to ‘Black Mags’ was recorded. Here we are now, both artists have released albums since then, and what a better time for the two to team up and create new material. When Chuck first sent this song over to us, we knew a video had to be shot immediately. From kitchen to kitchen, we ran around New York City creating the above visual which we find as the perfect representation to the bass heavy banger. Look out for Pabst & Jazz to drop soon on ILLROOTS. Get excited.

J*Davey: Queen of Wonderland (Video)

With the release of J*DaVeY’s New Designer Drug upon us, we’re happy to present a live clip of the album’s stand out track, “Queen of Wonderland,” courtesy of Pinboard Film & Red Bull Studios. This performance was filmed live in London during the European leg of our summer tour & the 3-man camera crew certainly did a great job of capturing the spirit of this powerful tune.
